HAHAHAHA. sorry. i suck at explaining how i feel. i can't really describe what i felt when listening to his cover. It felt like he was singing it for me (obviously that's not true. lol) and there were so much emotions emitting from his voice. it just literally sweeps me off my feet. Okay, maybe it's the lyrics of the song or something making me feel the way i am right now, but I'm telling you, this guy is awesome! Tell me what you think ;)

it'll be on the 23rd of January 2011, at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh, Perak.
Hillsong is actually the highlight of the whole event, and the Perak Government is supporting this. Cool right? :D
(yeah, i just think highlighting it would make it stand out more *GRINS*)

J-card Member SALE! + EDU fair in Syuen :D

YESH. apparently, the whole of Ipoh were at these 2 places mentioned in the title of this post.
 Went to syuen at about 4.30, reached there at 5pm. the place was freaking freezing! (same ballroom as to where Hillsong's Unite+Conquer concert was held ;D ) anyway, mum was at Taylor's College table for about 20 mins. met several friends there. Apparently Seng Hoo was at the Sunway College table next to Taylor's. I didn't even know! D:

Yeah, so went home at about 6pm, and quickly showered and had dinner for it was S.A.L.E day in Jusco! you have NO idea how packed Jusco was tonight/today. omg. cars were lining up from the main road and it was just impossible to get a parking space in there. SO, me and my mum did what other shoppers did. We parked in the shopping center next door :D (Tesco) and then we walked over to JJ. omg people were walking all over the place with at least ONE shopping bag in hand. AT LEAST! we quickly made our way to the clothes' department and begin hunting!

it was so frigging hard to get around D: especially when people were carrying clothes, shoes, bags and pushing trolleys. we headed to the "undergarments" section first. it was like a scene from Confessions of a Shopaholic. (never watched that movie) women of almost all ages were digging through countless amounts of bras and it was hectic! after that, went to look for more clothes.
Let me just summarise what happened.

went to Ti:Sized, got myself a cropped cardigan, a spaghetti top, a cropped jacket and another top. Got myself another cardigan from Agenda. Got a sleeveless top, and another 2 tops from Pots-1. then went to get my mum's clothes and a few shirts for the maid. We didn't know what to get my dad so we're planning to return to the battlefield either this weekend or next week. Anyway, headed to Vincci and tried a few flats. and i'm proud to say, i finally own myself a pair of chic, light denim coloured, studded flats. :D I'm so happy! though it's a lil' small. or rather it fits just right. and it's a size 5. if i wore the size 6, the back part would come off when i walked. it's so annoying when you can't find your shoe size D: and right now, my foot is in between 5 and 6. wth.

Then, we walked back to tesco, and came home :D
Shopping. Is. Awesome. :) especially when you find clothes that fit youuuuhhh~

OH and updates about the Hillsong thing in Jan!
The event will be post-phoned to the 23rd of January 2011 which is also a Sunday because the Sultan isn't free on the 16th. It will still be held in the Stadium, most probably the indoor one. More updates coming your way! [when there are any :) ]

Any ways, I stumbled upon this role playing site. I was looking for another one since Bella Luna (Twilight role-playing forum) was transformed into a Harry Potter one, (omg no way!) and so began my quest to quench my thirst of the thrill of role-playing with people i don't know. I particularly like vampire themed RP-forums (RP = role-playing) cause lets just face it. Vampires are awesome. Werewolves too! :D but Vampire Knight don't have werewolves. They have oodles of Bishies instead! (Bishonens are really good looking boys. Otaku terms)

So, the basic thing about a RP-forum is, 

1. you get to be your dream canon character (if they're not being played by someone else) or be your own character
2. live out your character's life as to in the series/game/manga/whatever.
3. meet tons of new people!

So basically, it's like reading a book. But you and other write that book. How cool is that? Mind you, that RP-ing in a forum is NOT like a game (DOTA, maplestory, ect.)

Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale

 

Just got back from the movies with the folks! :D  

I tell you, this movie is fantastic! The whole story was changed ;) (no spoilers~ so i'm not gonna elaborate on the movie :D)

 

This was my favourite scene in the whole movie :)

At first my dad thought of watching Harry Potter because Rapunzel was full. But it wasn't entirely full because there were couple seats which cost RM30. and since they were rigggghhhhtttt at the back, i wanted to get those tickets. But my dad still insisted that we watched Harry Potter because it's cheaper. (by 8 bucks =3= )

But i still pestered on about wanting to watch Rapunzel and so, we got the tickets and i paid 10 bucks because I felt bad (we got 2 couple seats so it's RM60) 

so, we went to buy the groceries first, then we went for dinner at McDs, cause we only had 1/2 an hour left to eat, so yeh. Then, of all people, met Ben and the Chang family! :D 

OH! and I met Darren and Yian Yian (in parade earlier in the afternoon). of all people! and i didn't even know he came back! DARREN HEW!! Why didn't you tell me?  >P haha. no biggie. it was totally random meeting him. :P

anyway, I didn't know TGV did renovations. (this shows how long I've not been to JJ T^T) my parents and i were staring at the interior designing in awe. Hoho. XD and and the couple seats are like.. AWESOME! :D

I should go to the movies more often~ :3 

OHHH and my mum brought my cat to church when she came to pick me up :3 teehee~

She is so gorgeous i tell you.. though i think this isn't the real image of her (in the movie).. but what the heck. she's pretty ;)

Video review :3 (Sam Tsui)

 

yeahhh so i stumbled upon this video my friend tagged me in on facebook. This is something like Mike Tompkin's videos of mashups, covers, and own unique style of interpreting music. When I watched this video, I was thinking "Hmm. Talented guy. Not bad. Though not as interesting as Mike's."

It was a slow mellow start. Then it took a happier pace when it went to Dynamite.

As the video progressed, it got to the point where I found it a little boring? Because he kept repeating Love The Way You Lie's chorus and several parts of Dynamite. BUT. He expressed those two parts differently. and that makes it different from the previous parts. (You'll get what I mean when you watch/listen it)

In the video, it shows similar presentation styles as Mike Tompkins (boxes of different videos) and that makes it really interesting.

The most interesting part is when he literally meshes up Love The Way You Lie, Dynamite and Teenage Dream. 

And finally, the video ends with the acoustic guitar; slow and mellow like how it began. A really nice touch.

Well, his voice is a sound for sore ears, unique presentation and he's eye candy. So over all, I'll give this video a 4 star rating ;)

it's really good! usually I don't listen to original productions but what got me to watch and listen to this video, i really don't know. The filming for this music video is really professionally done. Like what you'd expect from a top ranking, super popular music celebrity. so i'll give THIS one a 4.5 star rating :D

It's raining Whales and Elephants.

It's pouring out there. If this goes on, I think the whole of Ipoh will be flooded in no time. Anyway, it's been AGES since i last blogged about something. So here's something to blog about. I just found out I've got astigmatism. Yeah, I'm treating it like some big, incurable disease.. *whooooo*
anywho, I'm gonna have to change my set of contact lenses to astig ones. Bah. luckily my old set expired a month ago. XD (no i did not wear those. yuck)
yeah so, anyway, more news. SPM is like.. 9 days away, and I'm sick. Not only that, I think it's safe to say that I'm not the only one taking it in really lightly. It's as if I'm sitting for the exam next year. *rawr!*
You know, this is really terrible. Okay.. I've been ranting about this problem since the past few posts. But I can't help it! I shall stop here.
besides my "agonizing problem", there IS good news. :)

I finally have a DSLR camera!! Though, owning one doesn't really make you a photographer. But, I think my creativity isn't as blunt as a stick.

Hmmm, right now, I feel hungry, but i'm really lazy to get my bum of this chair to go down the stairs to get some snacks in the dark kitchen. Though, that might not be the brightest idea, cause my throat hurts really bad right now. *clears throat* ow.
OH! and I'm already thinking of what to do once SPM is over:

• get a job (most probably helping my parents out. so that's covered)
• join some classes. maybe dance? confectionery? 
• get my frigging driver's license.
• go to college.
• enjoy my butt off in 6 months.

yeah so basically that's what i would want to do after high school life in over. :)

two seventy

I was just tweeting and checking tweets. The usual. and then, on youtube, i went to check out Justin Bieber's songs that I haven't heard before. What pissed me off were the users that had to give such terrible comments about something they don't even like.

What is up with that?

Sure, Justin is 16, popular, good looking, great dancer, talented and did i mention popular? But you don't have to bash him up so vulgarly.. when I read the comments, I was like: 

"My gosh. Don't these people have anything else to do? Do they even know how to spell for that matter??"

My eyes were more busy mentally correcting their atrocious grammar mistakes that watching the videos. 

Seriously guys, leave Justin alone. 

i'm not saying this because i'm a fan (which i'm not. might be. okay.. soon to be) but I'm saying this because I was once a hater too. (wow.. expect some heart touching story, guys. lol) 

I used to dislike a Korean girl group because my friend hated them. At first, I was fine with their songs and stuff. But soon, i got influenced into disliking them that I started hating them too! it was then when I read nasty comments about the celebrities that I liked, did i realize how much I was angry at those people who spoke ill of them. I was really pissed off and frequently counter attacked their comments like "what's your problem??" or "go get a life!" (I'm sorry, i can't comment vulgarly at the moment.) 

but it soon came to light that there was no point arguing about how great that person is, or how idiotic they look. for goodness' sake those celebrities don't even know YOU! (or me for that matter.)

I was watching a video about "what Justin looks for in a girl." and he says that he looks for a great smile, great personality, humor, and stuff like that. and he also goes on to say that his ideal first date would be to make (the girl) feel comfortable. (he also said "you guys") 

when i read the comments, I was almost face-palming myself. although, not all were as terrible (except the grammar >< i get really irritated with terrible grammar).

You must be thinking: "This girl is really wasting her time standing up for some kid who has a girl's voice."(sorry. :/)

Well on the contrary, I'm saying this in regard with all the celebrities out there. No matter how many fans they have, they are bound to have haters. The question is this:

Why do you hate/despise/dislike them/him/her so much?

and if you're currently sort of disliking some celebrity out there, i hope this post would make you realize that disliking them doesn't change their status of fame. there may be a whole lot of other issues regarding this one but this is all i have in my mind at the moment.

I was on facebook at about 8, and a friend shared a video about an acapella of Teenage Dream by Katy Perry and Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars. at first, i was surprised that my friend was online at 8 something in the morning. Then I thought i would just watch what she shared, and i was blown away by this guy's talent.

His name is Mike Tompkins

This guy is simply incredible! He remakes songs with only his mouth and voice. Impossible? not so :)

My trials are over!! *hysterically happy*
it's been a SUPER long time since i properly sat down and used the computer to surf the web.
so, here I am! and i am proud to say i have improved a whole lot since my last exam. this time, there are no red results! :D

anyway, a very funny thing happened on thursday. My dog, apparently broke the outdoor tap. (used to water the plants and wash the car.)
when i got home from school in the afternoon, water was spraying everywhere!! and my dog had the guilty look on his face. (haha!) the day went on as usual and till the next day.
when i got home on friday, i had a desperate need to wash my hair. and i was worried whether if there was gonna be any water for me to shower with.

when i checked, there was water. and like 5 minutes later, when i turned on the tap, water was hardly dripping at all! I was like: "omg." the next thing i knew, i was in the shower for almost an hour; trying to get water from the shower, the tap, and other water sources. T^T

anyway, the outdoor tap is fixed now and we have running water again! :D Thanks dad!

I was just watching a video about "irregular braid" tutorial, and I read the comments. Some people are just so... UGH. Annoying.

simple answer, nitwits. People want to learn what she has to teach. *rolls eyes*
it doesn't matter how many hits or views a video has. it's about enjoying what you watch for crying out loud!

Watched Edward Scissorhands today. I've heard about it but never got the chance to watch it. Even when I did, I'd switch the channel. So today, I finally sat down and watched half of the movie and what I can say about it, is that its one of the most touching Tim Burton movies I've ever watched. I teared at the end. Literally! There were LOTS of parts in the movie that made me go "awwww..." and some parts where I was going "wtf is wrong with you people??"
I mean, Edward looks so fragile to the point where you just want to forget his scissor hands and hug him real tight. What's more, it's Johnny Depp as Edward. :)
AND his voice just melts you off your feet. He sounded so... so innocent. Like a little child who knows nothing about the cruel world around him.

An incredibly short summary of the movie:
Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American romantic fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. The film shows the story of an artificial man named Edward, an unfinished creation, who has scissors for hands. Edward is taken in by a suburban family and falls in love with their teenage daughter Kim.

It's a really good and really fresh plot to begin with. So, all the more reason to watch it. You don't see other movies such as this don't you?
I really adore Johnny in this movie :3 he portrayed Edward so well! I find Edward quite the charmer and his sweet, innocent, pure-heart attitude makes me adore him even more. Call me weird, but hey, didn't you already know that? :)

Oh, and I just found out that there were rumours circling around stating that ROBERT PATTINSON is going to play Edward in the remake of the movie. OH HELL NO. he better NOT attempt in doing so. It'll ruin the charm of the movie for goodness' sake! No offense to Rob Patt fans, but I just don't like him as much as you do.

Sooo anyway, it's my grandma's birthday today! *huge smiles* and I absolutely LOVE her. She's SO adorable I tell you :3

Our SPM trials are FINALLY and OFFICIALLY over! :D *throws confetti* celebrated by playing my dusty PS2 from 2 plus (i think) to 6pm :3

so right now, our(my school seniors [form 5]) main priority is to:

1. get prom/grad night dresses
2. get prom/grad night shoes
3. decide type of hairstyle for prom/grad night
4. plan for prom/grad night
5. everything prom/grad night.

Since graduation night is like... a month away, we should be VERY panicking right now about what to wear and stuff. I myself, have absolutely NO IDEA what to wear. Although I do know what colour I might be wearing, I don't know about the rest :s
PLUS, I'm running low on cash. So, it's gonna be a thrifty trip to the mall! (or boutiques)

oh oh! Sara has been bombarding me about Dolfies. I had NO IDEA what they were until she sent me the link.

Hmm. found out a friend has a tumblr. or rather, my friendS have tumblr. and it looks very fascinating. Now I'm thinking: "should I abandon blogspot and move to tumblr?" OR "do nothing."

3.more.days

that's right! trials is 3 more days from ending. (well I don't take add maths. so it's minus a day. If you were wondering) It's been awhile since I last updated. Again, so much has been going on.. the concerts, exams, school, people, etc etc. With so much going on, it's hard to slow down and enjoy what God has placed in front of us: friends, family, nature, love, happiness..etc.

and sometimes, we have too much free time till we don't know what's going on! (like me :P)
for some unknown reason, I seem to have no feelings what so ever for this year's exam. my FINAL exam. THE EXAM that determines where I go. :S
terrible terrible me, i know. How can I even not CARE about my future? I don't know that myself! I'm still really calm and relaxed. (that's a really bad habit i need to kick) But, for some reason, I'm not worried! (even worse) I feel that God has a great plan for me ahead. I kept thinking: "what if I kept getting straight As? What if I keep achieving better? What kind of person would I be if I did?"
Well, maybe I might be a very stuck up person, or maybe someone who wouldn't depend on God; knowing that I can handle things myself down here. Maybe there's a reason why I keep failing in my studies? I might be wrong though. Maybe I keep failing and only achieving averages because God wants to keep me humble and not boast about my achievements? So many questions, so many vague answers. But now is not the time to be asking God "Why? Why not this or why not that?" Everything is planned. Everything has it's purpose. It's a matter of seeing past the doubts and disappointment and looking at the big picture.

I miss Hillsong :(

someone got sabotaged today~ ! :D

such a hilarious and unforgettable experience happened today. A bunch of us went to JJ after Kids'. Crystal, Jo, Mun and Sean Lim took ourselves to Vincci for some shoe-window-shopping. There were these REALLY AWESOMELY HIGH (pumps?) that I tried on. zomg they were so SEXY i can DIE! haha. I should get those for Christmas.. but but.. i think it's 4 inches high. i wouldn't want to break my feet walking in that. anyway, went to SASA next. We dragged Sean in despite trying to get away. But he succumbed to the awesomeness of make up. :P KIDDING.

Met up with Sean Mark Wilson (man of the day. lol) and Zhi Yang. We initially hadn't planned for Sean to come with us but Zhi Yang brought him so he just tagged along (not knowing the horrors that await him. mwahahaha!). Went to McD's for some yum-yums, then Zhi Yang, Sean Lim, Jo and moi went to get the ingredients for our sabotage on Sean (M.W). TEEHEE
and our Key Ingredients were:

• Durian
• Tabasco Sauce (rather it was red pepper sauce but never mind. Close enough)
• Chili Padi
• Sprite
• Sharpie Marker

I had to frigging put ALL those in my bag. The poor thing smelled like DURIAN all the way back to church! We had to go Kwok Tai to meet Sean's mum and then walk/run to his house to wait for his mum cause she had some stuff to do. Then, when she arrived, we all squashed in and the first question she asked us was: "Is that durian I smell? Did some one eat durian?"
We were looking at each other and denying the fact that there were 4 pieces of Durian mush in my frigging bag. LOL.
Ayte. Just imagine what we did with those. I'll give you a minute.... .... ..... ....
okay. we celebrated Sean (M.W)'s birthday early. So yeah.. the typical procedure.. cake cutting.. blah. and that bloody Zhi Yang STUFFED my WHOLE bag in the refrigerator instead of JUST the things. bah.

right. THEN, Alex (Tan) took him and walked a distance away.

Let the sabotage begin.

The guys tied him up with his shoe laces (hands and feet) and made him lie down on the grass (field). They raised his shirt and I was practically covering my eyes. LOL. it was so.. brutal XD
They first took the marker and practically drew all over his front. Then, came the chili padi. Ouch. they must really burn. Next came the stinking durians. gawd. I tell you, it was totally torture! the stench was all over! (I'm not complaining because i just love durians.)
Then came the tabasco sauce. took us some time opening the damn thing. It was then dabbed on Sean (poor sean) and then he attempted to hop away. (haha) and to top it all off, Sprite was poured on him while in pursuit.

Sorry sean.. the durian was my idea ;P hope you'll forgive me before you leave for England next next week T^T gonna miss youuu!

a proper update please~

it's been awhile since i last updated with what was going on with my life. my apologies :S
anyway, 2 days ago (Friday) my SCHOOL BAG got confiscated! Imagine that! and you know why? It's because it's not those proper shoulder-strapped school bags that everybody carry around. I have been carrying that bag for a year and a half and NOW you want to confiscate it? pfft. lame. this shows how not observant you people are. aww, okay i'm being too mean here. Anyway, I got my bag back when school ended. But I got de-merit-ed anyways. Peh.

moving on! Had McDonalds with dad for supper after church. Dinner wasn't as... filling if i would say.

right. but before that, went to Tesco to get some kitty food for little Dino. His milk ran out and my dad figured it was time for him to move to harder stuff.

We were contemplating on which brand to buy and whether to buy the kitty food and water bowl or not. Turns out we took the damn bowl anyway. It only costs RM3 something anyway. psh.

When randomness attack!!

Since I'm SUPER bored and it's only.. *looks at desktop clock* 11.42pm, I guess I shall kill a small part of my boredom by blogging, which i haven't been doing very often. *insert random laughter here*

yes it's an adorable little thing. cries a lot too. and poops. and pees. and crawls all over the place. and my dog AND other cat is JEALOUS. mwahaha!
Righto! currently, my hair is in a very... pms-ing state. I applied olive oil on it after i washed my hair (partially dry of course) and wrapped it in a towel for like.. 2 hours plus? and guess what? it didn't dry! "like omg!!" *bimbotic expression*
ignore me. i'm just high from lack of food and my laziness is preventing me from getting- ooh!! there's MILO! *throws confetti*

anyways, i'm gonna have to wash my hair again. (ugh. waste water and shampoo and electricity) && I'm playing badminton tomorrow! (like finally) I really want to try out the new strings on my racket :]
and so, a bunch of us are going somewhere to play. not gonna tell you who and where in case one of you people stalk us or something. stalker.

well, to answer your question.... i had a number of names before my mum chose one. for example, PooPoo, PeePee, Hello, Lucky, ... okay those names were absurd but they really WERE suggested! (by my dad. lol he was being REALLY sarcastic at that time)
so, my mum settled for.... *drum roll* DINO!
lol. dinosaur much? still not used to calling it that. but at least he has a name now :D
anyhoots, little Dino here can walk now. still a little wobbly, but he sure can crawl around fast! my mum said we needed a basket. then i said, No, we need a bigger box. (cause he sleeps in a box that is in a box. get it?)

Such a Disgrace to your own Religion

I stumbled upon this video on facebook and was truly awed by this man's superiority and guts to tell us the truth that we have wanted so much to spill but we can't because the government will sue us and take us to court. watch this:



After watching this, I thoroughly agree with him. His name is Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) this is a very true fact that is happening in our country. It's just so HUMILIATING to disgrace your own family, let alone your RELIGION. these people that RPK speak about, they have no self dignity at ALL and they are the government. What is going wrong with our Tanah Melayu? Even though I'm a Chinese, and I'm Christian, I have nothing against Islam. But I DO have something against people who misuse their authority given by the government and by Islam. What will OTHER people think about your religion? It has already given me a bad impression since idk when. But in actual fact, Islam is a good religion, but people who do things in the name of Islam are just mockery to themselves.

Do yourselves a HUGE favour and examine yourselves before judging others.

I might get sued for this but what the heck. For the sake of opening YOUR eyes. Come on people, wake up! There's still time to repent and go back to Allah. :) I'm not saying that your should convert and abandon Islam; No! It's your religion, so you take care of it! Not abuse it like this.

Okay. I feel stupid for getting so worked up in my last post. My apologies. Well, my dog came home at 9am the following morning. I was so relieved when my mum told me the good news :3
and more good news: There are a lot of miracles happening that revolved around Hillsong coming to Ipoh :D

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with today. Seriously. First of all, Alex's (Khor) phone disappeared. It was partially my fault because I was taking care of it. Second, my dog is missing and lost. So far, it has been 4 hours. When I came back from church which was around 6.30pm, it was already gone. Then, when my parents and I left for JJ at around 8pm, it was still missing. Now I'm already home and he's still not there. What is wrong with the fucking picture here??! ARGH I'm currently in the mist of a system break down. I was getting a head ache from thinking so much about the missing phone and now I'm just plain moodless and depressed that my dog has gone missing too. Fuck Life. FUck Fuck Fuck it to it's core!!!!

Half a day at McD's Drive Thru ;)

Woke up at 8.30am today, full of joy and vigor to go to McD's to get some work done. I was supposed to meet up with a friend there, but I didn't get any text from her despite me sending several messages. So anyway, I called up her house and her mum answered. Friend was still sleeping. I thought she forgot or something. Nevermind, I left home at around 9.30 plus and arrived at McD, ordered some breakfast. Then, someone called me. It was Friend! She said she had sent me several texts as well, but I never received them. (DiGi is trying to be funny here. =.=) and since I was already in McD, we couldn't do anything. oh well. So, I settled down to start eating while starting up my laptop. Had a Big Breakfast or something like that and some coffee.

After I finished my meal, I started on my maths homework while FB-ing, and slurping some ridiculously sweet coffee. ( I added 4 packs of sugar and 2 packs of cream :D) then half way through, I needed to go pee after the coffee and a glass of water from home. At first it was okay, then it got worse as I drank more coffee. I couldn't  leave my table because of all my stuff and laptop so I held on. HAHA

after maths, I moved on to read a magazine that I had brought for the Siviks folio project. It was on exercise. psh. OH YEAH. there was this guy who arrived at McD around the same time as I did and we sat 3 tables and a door away from each other (just use your imagination). He had his back to me and you know what? He kept stealing glances. HAHA! omg. it was so funny! He was wearing all white too. LOL. Y'know? I think I'm the longest staying customer at McDs today. HAHA It's been 5 hours since I got here! X3

anyway, continuing my story. After the mag, I got started on my folio.(which I only did like... 1% of? FB was distracting even though it's boring.) so anyway, I had to keep my bladder till 1pm. When I kept my stuff, THEN did I go to the toilet. :)
and and I saw Wu Kah Yan(?)!

a lot of people have been looking at me today. is it the laptop? is it me? because i've been sitting here for the past 5 hours? or is it because I'm wearing those hot shorts that are showing off my fair thighs? XD OMG. it's so embarrassing I tell you. :3

they sounded so ah-meh-zinnnggg! (well, there may be people/groups that are better than them but what the heck.) and guess what? my dad bought 12 of their CDs!! *huge grin*

I even got them to sign all 12 of the CDs! (actually, my parents insisted that i go get their signature XD
and and aaanndd Park Sang Gyu was being a really good sport and even helped me in getting rid of the plastic on the CDs! A big gamsahapnida to him! :)

and what's more? he even signed my CD with my NAME on it!

So, on to today. We had Kelab Rukun Negara Choir Competition at Taman Budaya from 8am to around 5pm. (the competition actually started at 1.30pm plus. Pictures might be up.) sad to say, we didn't win. Though we thought we would get at least a top 3 placing, but unfortunately, some people just don't have a musical ear. Rather, they have very sharp racist eyes. One of the requirements was a 7:3 ratio of races. Come on. What the heck is up with that?? racist country. anyway, when they announced the winner, it was like this:

"..dan tempat pertama pergi kepada..(or something like that) SMK..Metho-" several of OUR school choir members jumped for joy and even screamed but we were confused as to why the school team seated
behind ours were jumping for joy as well. we went "uh oh.". it was their school that had won. apparently, we hadn't heard the rest of the school name and assumed that we were the ones who had won. how embarrassing. so, to save our dignity, we pretended that we intentionally jumped for joy for several weird reasons. No need to say them here *ahem* and when we had finished our 2 songs, no one even clapped for us! HOW MEAN. only our teacher and supporters did. (i think) UGH! evil people. they were either too amazed by our spectacular performance or we really sucked balls. tsk. the same thing happened during rehearsals but that one I can ignore because we did sound terrible, ( I blame the microphones.)

right! So, moving on to the next agenda: I got bitten by my dog. again.
